Background

Gaudry Normand and Pauline Normand discovered the pure tones and the energy-enhancing properties of pure quartz crystal instruments in 1994. They play crystal vessels (singing bowls), crystal didgeridoo and Quartzophone® instruments (harp and lyra). Pioneers on these instruments, they have given over 1,200 Sonomeditation™ concerts since 1994: in Canada, Europe, India, Egypt and the United States. In 1996 they published their first album, CrystalÉnergie. Two other albums followed: Crystal Christmas in 2005 and Sonomeditation in 2019.

concert

During crystal events the store and museum are open and we offer concerts. This relaxing, meditative and musical ‘sound bath’ facilitates a direct, personal experience of over one hundred quartz crystal instruments. All concerts take place upstairs in our newly renovated concert hall on the second floor.

The concert begins with a brief introduction to the history and properties of these unusual instruments. We share the basics of the Sonomeditation™ method, which we developed specifically to allow everyone to easily meditate on the sounds of crystal instruments and does not require any previous experience with meditation. The musical portion lasts between 30 and 50 minutes. Admission: 12 years and older.

Sit back, relax and absorb the crystalline energy. During a concert you simply close your eyes and let the music flow gently over and through you. In this way you easily meditate and enjoy a peaceful feeling.

The crystal instruments produce sounds that are absolutely unique! Here Pauline plays a giant Quartzophone harp.

During a concert we play about 100 perfectly tuned crystal instruments and make them ‘sing’ harmoniously together. You will hear Quartzophone instruments (harp and lyra), singing bowls, didgeridoo, pyramids, rainstick and much more.
